  There are lots of diseases that all affect people in different ways, and Im not saying that one disease is worse than another when I answer this question!
  
  Whilst Im not sure its officially a disease, I would cure blindness – I can’t imagine not being able to see, and of all the senses to lose I think it’s one of the more difficult to work around.

  This is hard, there are so many diseases that cause so much death and serious illness/disability. However, malaria and tuberculosis are two diseases that affect millions of people. Figures from the world health organisation (WHO) Malaria: 214 million cases with 438 000 deaths in 2015. Tuberculosis: 10.4 million cases with 1.4 million deaths in 2015. I would like to find a cure for tuberculosis as the bacteria is becoming resistant to the current drugs that are used.
