      Hi Arjun,

      Good question! When patients have difficulty swallowing, eating, going to the toilet, or have symptoms such as weight loss, tiredness, vomiting and diarrhea, then they can come to our clinic, and we can do a lots of different tests to try and find out what is wrong with them!

    If I can develop a new more accurate and sensitive DNA mapping technique, this will help doctors understand how cancer cells are changing in response to the treatment they are giving the patients. Hopefully this will let them tell if the treatment isn’t working well and change it BEFORE the cancer starts to grow quickly again.
