Perhaps a trick question? The current calendar we use uses his death as a reference, and he wasn’t born yet! But that aside, yes, he was.

Jesus (pronounced a bit like HeyZeus) is a popular name in Mexico, I am sure some of these people will have been born in December. As to whether the Jesus of Christianity was born in December, you’d have to ask a historian or religious scholar.

When you look at the stories of world religions, there are a lot of similarities between them, as they are all ultimately based on stories told by star constellations, and also mixtures of stories from other religions as they appear and spread.

I have heard people say he may not have been, and they talk about the shepherds that are spoken to by angels to say that the Saviour has been born; its said that they would not have had their their flocks out in winter (https://www.ucg.org/the-good-news/biblical-evidence-shows-jesus-christ-wasnt-born-on-dec-25).
However while I was looking into that, I have seen a site that says different breeds of sheep were raised back then, so they could have been out during the winter (https://www.whychristmas.com/story/shepherds.shtml)

Long story short: I dont know! The story says so, and thats what everyone goes by 🙂
