      Mine is a guy Called William Thompson, AKA Lord Kelvin.

      He has the absolute temperature scale named after him, but branched out into loads of different areas. Very successful man.

      My favourite scientist is the physicist Richard Feynman. He was interested in so many different things and explained difficult concepts in an interesting way that was easy to understand. I loved reading his autobiography “Surely you are Joking Mr Feynman” when I was in high school. He inspired his younger sister to become a scientist too. Joan Feynman is an astrophysicist who worked for NASA and the Jet Propulsion lab.
